Searching in the Spirit Leader Application Deadline:

The Searching in the Spirit Leadership Team trains together and works
with YMO Consultants to plan and execute the five-day event. This is a
six-month commitment. |
World Youth Day Meeting:
March 07, with Lenten Lunch
FREEDOM: March 26
Original reconciliation event for youth. This year's event will be on
Friday, March 26 at St. Mary's Parish in Vancouver.
Experience first-hand the healing power of Christ through music,
prayer, testimonies and teachings, and the Sacrament of
Reconciliation.
FREE Admission to FREEDOM
Confirmation Retreat: March 27
March 27—all Confirmation students—school & PREP—11am-5pm in the
parish hall followed by Mass
WORLD YOUTH DAY Mass: March 27 @ 5pm
Youth Day: May 7 & 8
Annual rally for high school teens, will take place on May 7 and 8 at
Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary School in PoCo. Jesse Manibusan
will be the keynote presenter and worship leader.
Youth Day is an annual event for the youth of the archdiocese to
celebrate and grow in their faith through a dynamic weekend of fun,
faith and fellowship.
YouthLeader: August 9 – 13, Summit Park, Abbotsford
YouthLeader trains youth to be leaders of ministry and forms youth in
the vision and values of Jesus; helping them make the connection
between their Catholic faith and their actions in leadership. Youth
and adults use the leadership skills they gain to plan for the parish,
school, or community group they represent.
For youth ages 15 and older (entering grade 10 or higher)
Searching in the Spirit: August 23 – 27,
Camp Jubilee, North Vancouver
Searching in the Spirit provides youth with formation in discipleship,
and challenges participants to live out their faith values in
everyday, real-life situations.
Participants combine practical skills, a faith perspective, and
spiritual development to learn and grow in their faith through
activities, games, skits, presentations, testimonies and reflection.
Most of all, it inspires the newly confirmed to continue on in their
faith journey.

longer use? Our Youth Ministry needs storage for child-minding

If you shop at Thrifty’s / IGA (or elsewhere) and bring home those handy
paper bags with handles please save them for our Youth Ministry. Help us
to “Go Green”
